“ Makoto dear, can you go and make sure the boys are up...they have an off day from school and I need them to run an errand for me.” She asks.
Nodding he heads up to Kame’s room to wake up his brother and Koki. He knocks but doesn’t get an answer even though he heard movement coming from the other side of the door, not realizing that Sora and Ran-chan were the ones making the noise he open’s his brother’s door and what he sees he doesn’t like one bit.
“ Oi!!” he shouts as throws the door open causing it to bang loudly off the wall.
“ What the hell!” Koki and Kame shout at the same time.
“ Just what do you think you’re doing?!” Makoto shouts and tries to pull Koki out of Kame’s bed.
“ Hey! Let go! We weren’t doing anything!” Koki shouts trying to pry himself from Makoto’s grip.
“ Makoto...let..him...go!” Kame orders and manages to free his boyfriend from his brother. “ Koki’s right...we didn’t do anything and we haven’t done anything except this...” Kame grabs Koki by the shoulders and kisses him right there with his brother watching, though conveniently he leaves out the ‘yet’ part of that.
“ I’m not going to force Kame into anything he’s not ready for.” Koki says as their father walks up wondering what all the shouting was about.
“ Look, our parents may believe that but I don’t.” Turning to Koki he tosses him his clothes and says “ Get dressed and get out of here!”
“ Hmph...last time I checked your father was the only one that has the power to throw me out...not some older brother who likes to run other people’s households.” he retorts and gets dressed and goes to leave but not before telling Kame that he’ll be waiting down stairs. As he passes their father he bows deeply and heads for the stairs.
“ Koki!!” Kame shouts but its too late Koki’s out of ear shot, he rounds on his brother as he finishes putting on some fresh clothes, “ Why did you do that? He’s a good guy...why can’t you see that? Stop trying to be my bloody keeper...we have parents for that! You have...” Kame’s interrupted by his dad...
“ Kame go down stairs and see if Koki wants to stay for breakfast and your mom needs you two do run an errand for her today while you’re off from school and I’ll deal with your brother.” he says before turning to his eldest son when Kame leaves taking the dogs with him.
“Makoto, I believe your mother just told you make sure they were awake..she didn’t ask you to come up here and cause trouble and neither did I.” He says.
“ But you didn’t see the two of them. They were laying half naked in the same bed and before you ask, no I don’t have a problem with my brother being gay.” Makoto replied.
“ Actually I did. Some how Koki’s dog wound up in our room last night and I came in here to put her in with Koki, Kame and Ran-chan and then I went back to bed.” He continued as they made their way down to breakfast stopping in the living room to finish their chat.
In the kitchen:
“ One of these days I’m going to kill him!” Kame growls.
“ I’m sorry about that Koki-kun, Makoto’s just been overly protective ever since Kame came out to us and he thinks every guy is out to take advantage of him. Just ignore Makoto he’ll come around in due time.” Their mother says reassuringly.
“ That still doesn’t give Makoto the right to treat Koki that way and I....” He’s cut off by Koki’s finger pressed against his lip.
“ Kame its okay, I understand how he feels. Believe me if my brothers were here they would be just as protective of me as Makoto is of you..now calm down.” Koki says soothingly and pulls Kame closer wrapping his arms loosely around his waist and kisses the side of his head. “ Besides, I would never do that in your parents house its disrespectful, and kids should be respectful.” he finishes as Makoto and their father walk in the room.
Seeing Kame’s father come in Koki says, “ I’m sorry if what I said upstairs was out of line.”
“ Its okay, you were right though. It is my household not Makoto’s and I make the decisions around here. If I think you're trustworthy enough to sleep in the same bed with Kame that’s how it is. Now...shall we eat?” He says.
After breakfast Koki and Kame head out to help out at the children’s ward of the hospital. Usually Kame’s mother does it but she has to help their neighbor plan his daughter’s wedding and that’s going to take all day. After pulling into the parking lot Kame says,
“ Hey Koki, that got me thinking while I’m still not ready to go all the way yet..I think I want to progress a little further.” he finishes, causing Koki to almost crash into the car that’s parked in front of him.
“ Are you serious, baby?” Koki asks while Kame just nods. “ If that’s what you want but if you start getting nervous and want to stop just tell me, okay?”
“ Okay. Now let’s go the kids are waiting for us.” he smiles and gets out of the car, with koki in tow they head inside.
“ We’re back!” Kame says as they walk into his house two hours later.
“ Oh hey guys. Mom’s still planning the wedding and is going to be busy. So I have to hang out with our brother all day.” Ryu says as Makoto comes over.
“ Ready to go Ryu?”
“ Yep.”
They leave to go play catch in the park and to catch a movie. All of a sudden they hear a loud yelp coming from the living room. Koki and Kame run into see what’s wrong and that’s when they see the neighbor’s kids pulling Ran-chan’s ears while Sora-chan hides in the corner.
“ Sora-chan!” Koki runs over and rescues his daughter.
“ Ran-chan! Hey stop it!” Kame goes to remove his dog from the boy’s lap as his mom and the bride-to-be runs in.
“ What’s wrong?” they ask in unison as Kame manages to free his own dog.
“ He pulled Ran’s ears and it caused her cry out and then his sister had poor Sora-chan hiding in the corner.” Kame says angrily while both him and Koki calm their dogs down.
“ I’m sorry...they’re young. We have two dogs at home and they’re still learning how to act properly.” the other woman says.
“ Why don’t you two take Sora and Ran to Koki’s house, Kame, that way they won’t get hurt again and they can calm down. I’ll call you when its safe to bring them back over.” She says after checking to make sure both dogs weren’t hurt.
“ Okay, let’s go Koki.” Kame says.
After securing the dogs in his car and they climb in and head to Koki’s house. That’s when Kame notices just how upset Koki is over what happened to Sora-chan, he turns to Koki and says...
“ Koki...she...” but he’s cut off when Koki says...
“ Stupid brats...why can’t they hurt their own dogs?”
“ Koki...Sora-chan’s fine now...look she’s even trying to use Ran as pillow. Besides, they looked like their just toddlers..they didn’t know any better.” Kame says gently.
After pulling up to his house he looks in the backseat and asks...
“ Are you okay Sora-chan...the mean kid didn’t hurt you did she?”
Sora just barks happily and licks his nose to say that “ Yes, daddy I’m fine. So stop worrying.”
“ See, I told you. Now lets go inside, there’s a game I still plan on beating you at.”
They head inside and while Koki changes out of his clothes from yesterday into some fresh ones, Kame’s setting up the game system when Koki’s cell rings. He picks up and he hears a familiar voice, it was the girl that threw him out of Koki’s hospital room.
“ What do you want?” Kame asks annoyed as Koki comes down stairs.
“ Kame? Who is it?” Koki asks only Kame hushes him.
“ Is my boyfriend there? Wait...who is this and what are you doing answering my Koki-kun’s phone?” She asks pretending to be angry and jealous. Kame doesn’t fall for it since he could here Tomo and Ryo sniggering in the back ground.
“ I asked first and besides Koki’s my boyfriend not yours. You can tell those two jerks laughing in the background that’s its a nice try on trying to break us up but it won’t work. That Ryo’s still not getting anything from me and that what he’s after is going to Koki. Good day to you.” Kame says and disconnects the line.
“ It was that girl that kicked me out of your hospital room. She was trying to act like she was your girlfriend only Ryo and Tomo were laughing in the background and gave themselves away.” Kame said answering Koki’s question from a few minutes ago.
“ One of these days those are going to find out just how it feels to treat people the way they do. A fate, I may I add, I got the chance to save you from.” Koki says.
“ Yeah and besides I’m much better for you than she is anyway.” Kame smirks and kisses Koki’s lips.
“ Yeah you are. Now shall we get back to our Mario Kart challenge?”
“ Alright and I’m so going to kick your ass Koki.”
“ We’ll see about that.” Koki challenges and after ordering pizza they settle in for a relaxing afternoon.
One pizza and three Mario Kart challenges later, with Kame winning two out of the three, Kame and Koki are sitting on the couch watching tv when Kame starts sucking on Koki’s neck. Turning his head Koki captures his boyfriend’s lips, gently nipping at Kame’s bottom lip, Kame obliges and soon they start battling for dominance but Kame lost again and just moaned as Koki explored his mouth with his tongue. Koki slips his hand under Kame’s shirt working his nipples until they’re hard, he ventures lower taking Kame’s panting as a sign to keep going. He pulls off Kame’s shirt and starts licking and kissing his chest and abdomen causing Kame to moan and growl. Koki doesn’t realize how hard he is until he feels Kame’s knee rub against the growing warmth inside his pants, he moans his pleasure. His hand reaches down to pull on the zipper of his lover’s jeans when Kame says...
“ St-stop Koki..please...I..”
Koki stops hearing the nervousness in Kame’s plea, he runs his hand back up Kame’s chest to his nipples after feeling Kame relax again; at the same time Kame’s knee stops its administrations to his hard on.
“ Your knee...don’t stop.” Koki says between kisses.
Kame smiles when Koki pulls away to run his tongue along Kame’s neck while he continues to rub his knee against Koki’s crotch until Koki moans out his name as he’s coming inside his boxers. Panting Koki drops his head on his partner’s bare chest and after he gets done seeing stars he looks up and kisses Kame lightly.
“ I thought you said you were a virgin?” Koki teases.
“ I am and I wouldn’t make jokes like that when my knee is still positioned between your legs. Besides, just because I wasn’t ready didn’t mean that you should have to suffer.” Kame says.
Getting up Koki goes to clean himself and to change his clothes, he comes back downstairs and they go back to the movie they were watching, Koki asks...
“ Where did you pick that up from anyway? I have never had someone rub their knee against me in the way that it actually felt like I was inside of you.”
“ From my first boyfriend, but we broke up since over time that wasn’t enough for him and the last boyfriend I had my dad scared him off by always hovering over us every time he was around. This was few months before we started moving around religiously, that was another reason why I didn’t want to get close to anyone, especially you, when I first moved back here.” he explains as the credits roll.
“ Yeah well trust me Kame...I enjoyed that way too much to get tired of it. Do you regret what we’re doing though?” Koki asks.
“ No, I don’t Koki. I think the bigger regret would come from never knowing, ya know?”
“ Yeah I know.” He smiles and pulls Kame into his lap to cuddle better, only to be interrupted by two loud barks.
Looking over at the door Kame sees Sora and Ran scratching at the wood trying to go outside. He climbs off and pulls Koki to his feet, he walks over and opens the door so they can use the bathroom and sniff around the yard. Sora and Ran don’t go very far without making sure their owners are right behind them. Instead of following Koki and Kame just sit on the porch watching their dogs run around playing with everything from butterflies to chasing rabbits and squirrels. When out of the blue Koki says....
Now I remember who that girl is Kame, She’s Tomo’s cousin and a year younger than he is. She was a sweet girl at one time and if I was straight I would’ve fallen for her.”
“ So what happened?”
“ She did a complete 360 when she fell in love with Ryo and she’s still pure. She would happily give herself over to him but he’s so focused on this little game of his and you...he won’t look at her nor notice her feelings for him. That’s why she’s doing the things that she’s doing, in the hope that if she helps him get to you then he’ll notice her.” He explains.
“ I don’t know who is stupider, Ryo or her. How she can fall for a guy like that I will never understand.” Kame says.
“ You fell for me and look at the way I dress and I don’t exactly have the nicest demeanor at first glance.”
“ True but there’s a difference Koki. The gentleness in your eyes clash with everything else and it was your eyes and smile that attracted me to you and I just fell for you even more when we were making out earlier and you stopped what you were going to do when I asked you too.” He explains as he leans against the pillar behind him.
Koki just smiles and says, “ I love you Kame.”
“ I love you too” He responds just as Koki’s phone goes off.
“ Hello..oh hey Maru. What’s up? Hang on..I’ll ask.” Koki says.
“ What is it Koki?”
“ Yuichi wants to know if we want to join him and Ueda at the dog park?”
Before Kame could answer Ran-chan does it for him.
“ I guess that’s a ‘yes’ Koki.” Kame laughs at his dog’s timing while Koki tells Maru that they will join them.
After grabbing some extra water, a couple of spare dog bowls and their dogs..they head to the park to meet up with Ueda and Maru. They spend the rest of the afternoon at the dog park and after Kame tells his mom that he’s just going to stay Koki’s place tonight and that he’s only stopping by home long enough to pick up some spare clothes and his school books. She agrees on the sole condition that Kame checks on the bride’s wedding cake tomorrow after school since him and Koki have to leave that afternoon to head out to Sendai to go see their favorite band play.

Koki just smiles and says, “ I love you Kame.”
“ I love you too” He responds just as Koki’s phone goes off.
“ Hello..oh hey Maru. What’s up? Hang on..I’ll ask.” Koki says.
“ What is it Koki?”
“ Yuichi wants to know if we want to join him and Ueda at the dog park?”
Before Kame could answer Ran-chan does it for him.
“ I guess that’s a ‘yes’ Koki.” Kame laughs at his dog’s timing while Koki tells Maru that they will join them.
After grabbing some extra water, a couple of spare dog bowls and their dogs..they head to the park to meet up with Ueda and Maru. They spend the rest of the afternoon at the dog park and after Kame tells his mom that he’s just going to stay Koki’s place tonight and that he’s only stopping by home long enough to pick up some spare clothes and his school books. She agrees on the sole condition that Kame checks on the bride’s wedding cake tomorrow after school since him and Koki have to leave that afternoon to head out to Sendai to go see their favorite band play.
